This book is so awesome! I wish I had books like this when I was a kid. Snake on a Train by Dorothy Ledum is about a snake that is on train. The plot thickens. The snake meets a whale. The whale is also on the train. Then the snake is on a whale. “Snake on a whale on mothaf&*%in' train!” screamed the passengers as they jumped off the train clambering for their lives. I can't believe that this children’s book actually exists!
This author also some other great reads entitled Frog on a Goat and Eat The Meat. On the cover of every book, there is a note that says “Give Thanks To God”. See more great titles and audio samples of these awesome books here.
In the same line, "Snake and Fish". Quote: Snake ate fish. Sad fish. Parent says: Give thanks to god who helps you learning to read. Thanks, god, for this smart kid.

Hm... I always wondered where legasthenics came from, imagine a kid in a house with a fish tank, or a kid who just saw "Finding Nemo" or "Shark Tale"...
